ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Every CrossFit class that we teach here at CFC is taught by a CrossFit certified coach with multiple certifications. We take pride in offering the best possible coaching, in every single class that we offer.
One of the great things about CrossFit Cimmeria is that we program (design) your workout for you. There is no guess work. Just show up and plan to work. Our programming is precise. It is a map, that if you follow will get you to where you want to be. That is, if you want to be stronger, faster, and fitter.
Our primary goal as coaches is to keep you safe. We understand that CrossFit is tough. We promise to push you, encourage you, and help you reach your goals safely. We do this by offering a total body warm up before every class, then reviewing movements that you will see during that WOD. We will take the time we need to ensure that everyone is moving safely.
Often times, for our newer members we will scale down the workout. That means we may take off a few reps, take off some weight, increase rest times, or cut down on the number of rounds that you do. This ensures that we keep you safe, and gives you a workout that is going to challenge you. Every person in class is working as hard as they can, with a workout scaled specifically for them.

In this article you will see the term "Rx". This refers to completing a WOD "as prescribed" with the weights, reps, and distances written on the board. The goal of these numbers is to test the best of the best in our gym. These numbers are usually very difficult for beginners and often times even for veterans as well; Do not feel bad or embarrassed to scale workouts! Scaling is what produces results. Trust your coaches here, they know what they're doing.
Whether you want to train 3 days a week, or 6 days a week, being able to workout when you have time is key to ensuring success with any fitness goals. At Cimmeria, we offer a variety of class times Monday - Saturday to meet our community's needs. If you're not able to make the class times listed below, private training is also available.
